Weekend House was founded in 2018 in Mataró, a fishing village north of Barcelona. The two sisters behind the venture set out to create a more sustainable line of children’s clothing, informed by "...everything that surrounds us; our kids, our dogs, natural habitats, gardens — the wonderful organic moments that arise as we all live together as a family and with friends."

To keep its environmental impact to a minimum, WHK work extremely closely with textile experts just three kilometres from their headquarters, enabling a strong ethical relationship and the meeting of strict environmental standards. Each piece is made with GOTS-certified cotton and bears the OEKO-TEX® stamp of approval, guaranteeing that no harmful chemicals were used at any stage of production.
